Teek - i'd like to echo previous comments - really good blog. it shows that there can be a simple solution to serious problems - how about ensuring that, to qualify as a science piece, an article must refer/quote/cite/etc a scientist/institution/journal/etc? wow, that was fast.<BR/>I saw the metro article yesterday on the way to uni and I was thinking of doing some digging on the research to find out if<BR/>a)This was tentative research and the scientist in question had gone straight to the media instead of the powers of peer review<BR/>b) the media making an absolute abortion of valid research<BR/><BR/>saved me the trouble, thanks.
